Since 1964, A.E. Robertson has proudly served the oilfield industry with quality equipment, reliable service, and a commitment to excellence. Founded by A.E. “Al” Robertson, the company began as a manufacturer’s representative, with Al’s determination and entrepreneurial spirit paving the way. Back then, his earnings depended solely on commission—a testament to his hard work and belief in delivering unmatched value to his clients.
In 1972, A.E. Robertson expanded its services to include buying and selling oilfield parts, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth. That same year, Al’s son, Mike Robertson, joined the business, continuing the family legacy. With the opening of our 14,000-square-foot office in Shreveport, Louisiana, we solidified our role as a trusted partner for exploration and production needs in South Arkansas, East Texas, Louisiana, and parts of Mississippi.
The company expanded once again in 1992, adding the Kilgore, Texas, territory to better serve our growing customer base. Today, A.E. Robertson operates a 12,000-square-foot warehouse in Kilgore, ensuring we have the inventory and resources to meet the demands of the oilfield industry. In 2013, Mike’s daughter, Taylor, joined the company, marking the third generation of Robertson leadership.
